The HPE FlexNetwork 5130 EI switch series consists of 7 gigabit ethernet switches that support static and RIP layer 3 routing, IPv6 forwarding, diversified services as well as provide four 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) interfaces. Unique Intelligent Resilient Fabric (IRF) technology creates a virtual fabric by managing multiple switches as one logical device, which increases network resilience, performance, and availability while minimizing operational complexity. These switches provide gigabit ethernet access and can be used at the edge of a network or to connect server clusters in small scale data centers.
The HPE FlexNetwork JG941A is the 48G POE+ 2SFP+ 2XGT (370W) model in the 5130 EI line and provides up to 370 W of PoE+ power. The HPE FlexNetwork JG941A has 48 RJ-45 autosensing 10/100/1000 ports, 2 SFP+ fixed 1000/10000 SFP+ ports and 2 RJ-45 1/10GBASE-T ports. This switch also features a convenient to access RJ-45 serial console port for out of band management.
