Using Nways Workgroup Hubs, you can build small 10BASE-T networks. You can also connect those 10BASE-T networks to the following types of IEE 802.3 network segments, each of which uses a different type of cabling.
10BASE5 (thick coaxial cabling)
10BASE2 (thin coaxial cabling)
10BASE-F (optical fiber cabling)
The hub feature include:
Eight or sixteen 10BASE-T ports
These ports enable to build a 10BASE-T network of two to eight devices (such as personal computers, servers, printers, and point-of-sale terminals) using the Model 008, or two to sixteen devices using the Model 016. Each device is connected to the hub by a UTP cable that is up to 10m (328ft) long.
The Port marked MDI are Medium Dependent Interface-x (MDI-X) ports. These ports perform the crossover function.
